July 4th Festivities In The OKC Metro

Independence Day is this weekend and there are many locations in the OKC metro having celebrations. From food to fireworks and family fun, there are events planned all over the area.

This year, Red White and Boom  will be celebrating at the new Scissortail Park on July 3rd. Bring a blanket, picnic basket and enjoy patriotic music from the talented OKC Philharmonic. The free 75 minute concert starts at 8:30 pm.

And Bricktown OKC is the place to be for this year’s fireworks and Oklahoma City Dodgers baseball game. The downtown OKC entertainment district will host an Independence Day block party with live music, games, food and more leading up to a fireworks display at nightfall. The event is on July 4th and begins at 7:00 pm.

Liberty Fest is back this year and as with Oklahoma City, the events will take place both on July 3rd and 4th. One of the largest parades in Oklahoma happens annually in Edmond. This year the parade will be at 9am on Saturday, July 3rd. For information on parking and parade routes, go to LibertyFest 2021 "Flying the Flag of Freedom". And don’t forget to stop by Mitch Park for Park Fest from 2:00 to 4:30. Fun play for the kids and food trucks for all.

On July 4th, the area’s largest fireworks display will be at Hafer Park off of Bryant and 9th. Parking will be limited to the baseball field parking. However, there are many other places to park close by for the short walk to the display. The show starts at 9:30 and the grand finale is rumored not to disappoint.

The celebration of liberty will be done big in Norman this year for Norman's 4th Fest. Starting at 5:00 pm on Sunday, July 4th, families can enjoy food trucks, sand volleyball, cornhole, baby crawling and toddler walking races, face painting, and family yard games at Reaves Park. And the fun doesn’t stop there, live music at 5:00 and 8:00 and spectacular fireworks at 9:45 pm.

Midwest City will host its annual Tribute to Liberty  on Sunday, July 4th from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm. The patriotic evening will be at Joe B. Barnes Regional Park and will be free to enjoy. Bring your blankets or chairs and enjoy live music, food trucks and the big fireworks show.

The VERY popular Freedom Fest in Yukon is where you can enjoy such fun as a car show and triathlon to sand art and hot dog eating contests. The event is chock full of everything you need to enjoy the 3rd and 4th. Be sure to check out the website for the schedule of fun and map.

Comparing Dumpster Rental Companies

You have decided it’s time to clean out the attic or do a kitchen remodel. You will have debris to dispose of and know the quickest way is to rent a roll-off dumpster, but you have never rented a dumpster before. Where to start?

Finding the right dumpster company is your first step in accomplishing your project. Not all are the same. From location to dumpster size, dumpster companies can vary. First, is the dumpster company local and in your area? A local dumpster company can facilitate your project faster than an out-of-state broker. The local company will know the area and you will be able to discuss your project with them.

The advantages of a local company don’t stop there. A local company is not a 3rd party and will charge only for the dumpster rental service. A 3rd party, that is out-of-state, will charge extra for hiring a local dumpster company to fulfill the order. If you have never ordered a dumpster, your first question is to ask if they are local. When searching for dumpster rental companies online, check to see if their office is a true location. Many times, you will see a dumpster company on the road while driving. These are the companies to remember to call.

Dumpster Design

Just as dumpster companies are different, so are dumpster designs. You want to consider your project and site before ordering a dumpster. Will the dumpster need to be on a driveway? Will the contents be heavier material, such as concrete or shingles? Will there be bulky items, such as furniture?

Roll-off dumpsters come in many sizes AND shapes. Bin There Dump That dumpsters range from small to large and accommodate small concrete removal to home cleanouts. Our bins are shaped at 90 degree angles, utilizing every bit of the dumpster, while other dumpsters taper down, becoming smaller at the bottom. Especially with larger items, a 90 degree angle is best with optimizing space.

Dumpster Services

Finally, what services are offered to make the dumpster rental the quickest and safest for your project? In addition to a company helping you with your project by knowing the best size dumpster, you should be assured it will be there when you need it. Ask what is the availability of their dumpsters and what is the process when picking up. Do they offer same-day or next-day delivery?

Also, ask how they will protect your driveway. Bin There Dump That will provide COMPLETE board protection with every dumpster, at no extra charge, 100% of the time. These boards will make it to where the rollers do not make contact with the concrete and fully protect your investment. Avoid costly damage by hiring a dumpster company who cares about your home and/or business.

All dumpster companies are not the same.

Knowing what to ask or where to turn will help you with your first-time dumpster rental. Call Bin There Dump That and we will be happy to discuss your project needs.
